Your therapist will begin the session with a brief interview to discuss your specific concerns, health history, and any areas of focus. Following the interview, a thorough assessment will be conducted to tailor the massage to your individual needs.
The core of the session is dedicated to hands-on treatment. Your therapist will use their expertise to address the identified issues, applying appropriate techniques to promote relaxation, relieve tension, and enhance overall well-being.
Towards the end of the session, your therapist will provide you with personalized home care recommendations. These may include stretches, exercises, or self-care practices to support the benefits of the massage and promote long-term health.
We allocate a few minutes at the beginning and end of the session for you to comfortably dress and transition back to your daily activities without feeling rushed.
Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in the therapists' day that could have been filled by another patient. As such, we require 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Patients who provide less than 24 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged a cancellation fee.
The credit card associated with your client profile will be charged for any Late Cancellation/ No Show fees.
1st and 2nd Late Cancellation/ No Show fees : 50% of scheduled appointment fee
3rd and subsequent Late Cancellation/ No Show fees: 100% of scheduled appointment fee
If for any reason your credit card is declined, any outstanding fees will be required prior to your next appointment booking.
Appointment reminders sent via email and text are a courtesy extended to all clients. Unread/unopened and or undeliverable texts or emails do not exempt you from these fees. It is the client’s responsibility to manage their appointments accordingly.
Respect for our team is of utmost importance to us. Marpole RMT does not tolerate any aggressive behaviors, insults, profanity, or threats directed towards any of our staff members either verbally over the phone, in person, or through written communication.
In the event that this occurs, you will receive an email warning which may result in being terminated from our clinic.
In cases of emergency or medical emergency, Marpole RMT will pardon the Late Cancellation/ No Show fees. This will be determined in a case by case scenario, the therapist will discuss with clients to determine if said incident can waive the Late Cancellation/ No Show fees.
Incidents such as “I will come if you are going to charge me” does not constitute an emergency. “I did not read the Late Cancellation/ No Show policy in the email or was not told over the phone or in person” does not exempt clients from said policy. When booking with Marpole RMT all clients agreed to Late Cancellation/ No Show fees policy.
